Some interesting times for sure.  Scary but you find the silver linings... One being.... the chance to spend more time with the family and doing home school projects like these.

We didn’t get a chance to go up to Brian Head this year but had a fun day up at Snow Summit with Owen and his friends.   Fun to be on skis with Finn

Hectic Holidays

No matter how hard we try to get in front of it... the holidays always seem so hectic.   But then you get that window.   That chance to slow down.  To enjoy what it’s about.    To watch some Christmas specials.  Some new ones that the kids will remember.  And the old ones that you remember and that bring back great memories.  A smile and some times a tear.

Fall Sports for Finn

Fall sports comes to end an end for Finn.  

Football... well let’s just say Dad’s coaching didn’t end up helping the team too well.  One win season.  Friday nights were tough but thankfully Saturdays and soccer were super.  Only one loss.

First trip to Julian (after talking about it for 7 years). 

A big step forward but still not too big

Another first.... 

For the first time we let O go surf without a parent or adult there - just him and his buddy. (Cameron)   A big step forward in independence and responsibility.   And O went spear fishing with his friends (Ethan and Ty)  - solo no parents.  

And while Owen has hit another first .... he still isn’t quite too big for a lift to bed.  Although.  I suspect this might be his last...
