If only I had the camera rolling for the other stage dives.... note Finn, lined up the bean bag and the pillows for his landing.... 1/2 proud other 1/2 scared.
New bikes from the Grandmoms at Christmas.
And the first time Tessa is riding a two-wheeler (although we tried with Owen's old bike... it must be the fact that it is Pink and Purple that she is ready to give it a whirl).
And then a little footage of Finn riding along on the scooter
The almost part being that Finn has been making great "strides" in the last couple of weeks in walking. Starting last Saturday, when from morning where he was taking a two and three steps to the end of the day when he was stumbling across the room. Only a matter of time until the last of the creepy crawlers is gone.
Each trimester, the kindergarten teachers award one student from each class with the "Leadership Award" which is presented by the local Naval Base. Last trimester, one of Owen's friends won the award. (this was the first awards ceremony that Owen was at since he moved to the new school, Loma Portal, from Pacifica). Owen was somewhat jealous and somewhat curious of the award. He was determine to get the award the next time. He asked his teacher, Ms. Neimela, what it would take to win the award. She explained that it was based on how well a student behaved and participated in class so that others would follow his/her lead. Owen worked hard and the results paid off... It was this inquisitiveness and determination that made mom and dad proud.
